CRISTAL

Cristal was founded March 2004 by the guitarist Michael Paradjian. With his previous band experiences and an ambitious dream to create a leading power metal band in Belgium, Michael started his quest. Since the beginning, the musical direction has been turned to melodic and fast metal, more precisely neoclassical power metal with a little progressive tendency. Members were selected following their technical skills, age and human qualities. Benjamin Elleboudt arrived in September 2004 as drummer and in February 2005 they were joined by the bassist Hiro Onishi. After auditioning a lot of singers and key players, the dream finally came true with line-up completed in July 2005. With the arrival of Jérôme Leduc as singer and live keyboards player, the band entered a new era and recorded its first 5-tracks demo, “Here wa are”. At the end of 2006 Cristal stopped its live activities and began to record “Heroes Of The Night”. They kept in touch with and developed their audience via Myspace, in a very positive way. In May 2007, Nicolas Guilitte - already drummer for years in an other friend band and “fan” of CRISTAL’s music - replaced Benjamin (which actually keep in touch with the band as its webmaster and infographist).
